Enjoy the best of sunny citrus with a Sunshine Mule! It starts with the classic ingredients for a mule and then adds refreshment and nutrition along the way.
Sunshine Mule
Ingredients
.5 oz. or 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lime juice
2 oz. or 1/4 cup grapefruit juice (fresh squeezed or Natalie’s)
1-2 puréed whole kumquats (optional)
2 oz. or 1/4 cup ruby red grapefruit infused vodka (I recommend Deep Eddy’s)
Fresh mint, muddled or slapped for use inside drink plus mint sprigs for garnish
3.5 oz. or 1/3 cup ginger beer (I recommend Q Mixers)
Ice
Fresh lime, orange, and/or kumquat slices
Method
Combine lime juice, grapefruit juice, optional puréed kumquats, and ruby red grapefruit infused vodka. Add mint and muddle. Fill glass 2/3 full with ice, and then add ginger beer to fill the rest of the glass.
Garnish by floating slices of citrus on top. Pour a splash of ginger beer over the citrus to release aromatics. Add a sprig of mint.

Pam’s notes:
- Make your Sunshine Mule without vodka for a refreshing non-alcoholic beverage that even kids will love!
- For fun and an extra depth of flavor, rub the rim of your glass with a lime wedge and then dip it into P.S. Flavor!™ Citrus Spice before making your drink.
